Programmer
Alternative titles: Analyst Developer, System Developer, IT Programmer
I wouldn’t be able to write this line of text if it weren’t for Programmers!
There is an endless list of applications that we can all use to speed up our day in the office. Word processors, spreadsheets, accounting solutions, presentation packages and so much more are familiar to us and have all been written by Programmers.
But then there are other products that allow banks to ensure multi-million payments are made between them, systems that detect fraudulent use of your credit card and systems that offer the available seating at your local Cinema for the 9pm showing.
With a rich variety of programming languages, computer platforms and application types to specialise in, Programmers can remain constantly challenged throughout their career.
