But this tracking device works both ways and isn’t so great if you’re supposed to be at school or work or tucking into bangers and mash lovingly prepared by your mum at home.

Microsoft’s product is called Window’s Live Mesh. Install the software on each device, add folders to your mesh and the folders are automatically synchronised.
