Young at heart
Nvolve Ltd specialises in software development and learning technologies. It was established in 2006 and endorsed by Enterprise Ireland as a High Potential Start-up Company (HPSU). With 8 employees (only 1 over 30), it plans to expand in the near future. Director Lee Tedstone reached the finals of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year In October 2008.
The culture
Nvolve’s culture is to work hard but have fun in the process. The company encourages entrepreneurial spirit and operates a meritocracy, i.e. you get out what you put in.
Nvolve’d in being ‘green’
Staff are encouraged to use the back of old letters as notepads and brainstorming session scribbles. Paper usage is only 500 every 3 months across the business and all company literature is marketed and presented electronically, including wage slips, brochures and a digital magazine.
Software division
The software division offers complete offshoring design service, onsite design resource or more commonly a mix of both, ‘local off shoring’. The main design skills are in the areas of C#, C++, Java, .NET, Sharepoint, SQL, cold fusion and Oracle.
Learning solutions division
The learning solutions division gives companies a way to provide blended training, combining traditional classroom and online training. The core product here is the Nvolve Response™ Blended Learning which leverages classroom, online and mobile technologies in order that training carried out within the organisation is done more effectively with significant cost savings.
