FarmWizard is a new hosted farm software solution for cattle farmers and those who do business with them. A new type of integrated Agri-IT solution, it offers a single Internet interface to a farmer to meet all of their Agri-IT requirements. It differs from existing Agri-IT software packages because farmers do not have to go to the trouble of buying, installing and maintaining Agri-IT software on their PCs.

FarmWizard is already being used on over 1000 UK farms and the innovation behind it has been acclaimed throughout the world. Last September the company won Irish SME of the year, and in August the 2006 Sybase Technical Innovators award at a glitzy ceremony in Las Vegas. Previously they claimed the 2005 Northern Ireland E-Commerce award for 'Best Use of Broadband' and the 2006 BT Golden Eye award for Mobile Technology.

• Community - allows users to message and trade with other farmers who are part of the online community.
• Beef Manager – along with a full range of herd management features it allows animal performance to be assessed, e.g. Daily Live Weight Gain, and turnover per head…
• Dairy Manager - along with a full range of herd management features it will help users to evaluate, manage and improve their dairy herd performance.

FarmWizard is now being used on farms from around the world from Cardiff to Cape Town. The company recently won a contract with the largest retailer in Africa to manage the traceability of its Premium Checkers Angus beef brand.
