BluePrint is a specialist recruiter working on resourcing solutions for clients and delivering on career aspirations of specialist talent in the fields of IT, Scientific and Engineering, across the island of Ireland. The Irish team specialise in utilising cutting edge search techniques alongside the groups international skill mobility network through Grafton Employment Group, to recruit talent for hard to find and niche roles in the IT and Telecommunications, Scientific, Engineering and Renewable Energy sectors.

In IT
BluePrint concur that “ A vibrant IT workforce is critical for the success of every sector, and a world-class technology skills base is an essential pre-requisite for success in the global economy” (e-skills UK 2009). The sector is wide reaching to include R & D functions, software design, software implementation and system and process development. There is a requirement for a high level of soft skills combined with technical skills. Future forecasts indicate that at least half of roles will be in the higher level skills arena- and this applies to throughout the island of Ireland. Experienced IT professionals with these combinations are in high demand especially those with software development background with associated problem solving skills. There is a strong demand for high level ICT skills that are also transferable into other specialist sectors such as bio-technology, medical devices and scientific. Opportunities particularly lie within Life & Health Technologies and Food & Drink, Green technologies and sustainable energies. There are fantastic opportunities also in Engineering, especially with a cross over to IT and Scientific this too will have an improving picture in 2010+. Key sectors for growth are bio-technology products and environmentally sustainable products.
