According to gamespot, Castle Crashers is a classic side-scrolling beat-‘em-up infused with cartoon visuals and absurd humor, and the result is a highly amusing romp.

Medieval feast

According to gamespot, this is a hilarious adventure through medieval countryside, enemy-filled castles, and venting volcanoes in search of true love[s], as well as the end of evil. So, another bog standard weekend then.

The good

The crisp art design really makes the game sparkle. Multiple game modes are fun to play with friends or on your lonesome. It’s spiced up by an eclectic original soundtrack which has the benefit of making each level feel unique. You’ll be left tickling your ribs with the genuinely amusing take on humour (well, that’s for you to decide…)

The not so good

Online connection issues handicap the multiplayer experience and some are of the opinion there are not as many features as you’d hope for. But hey, have a buy, have a go, see for yourself. You might come across Robin Hood or some Vikings on your medieval travels. Just don’t think it a good idea to rob from the rich to give to the poor. Or rob at all for that matter.
